A Frost Giant is a cold-weather adaptation of the Giant species. They resemble a cross between Frost Trolls and Giants, and bear long white fur on their extremities, particularly their legs, and all about their heads, including their faces. At first, they resemble a completely different creature, until the observer notices the similar torso, bearing, and hide clothing. They also bear similar weaponry, a large mammoth bone.
They dwell in the coldest and most remote, high-altitude regions of Skyrim and exceedingly few of them have been seen by any traveller. They have 100% Resistance to Frost and 33% Weakness to Fire.
A Frost Giant has the same aloof temperament and reactionary mentality of a Giant, and should be avoided by all but the toughest warriors.
In the Forgotten Vale five of these rare creatures can be found. Unfortunately they carry the valuable Ruby Paragon, Emerald Paragon, Diamond Paragon, Sapphire Paragon or Amethyst Paragon on their bodies, making them a prime target for the Dragonborn.
