Discover the significance of Crimson Nirnroot
If the Dragonborn picks some crimson nirnroot before finding Sinderion's Field Laboratory, this objective is added to the Quest Journal.
Collect Crimson Nirnroot in Blackreach (30)
The crimson nirnroots only grow in Blackreach. There are more than thirty there, but they are spread all over the location and do require a fair amount of searching to find. However, this does provide the opportunity to also mine Geode Ore Veins which are also only found there.
Bring 30 Crimson Nirnroot to Avrusa Sarethi
Once the Dragonborn has thirty nirnroots, he/she can then bring them to Avrusa Sarethi at her farm and receive Sinderion's tome "The Nirnroot Missive" and Sinderion's Serendipity as a reward.
