Ancano's meddling with the Eye of Magnus has caused repercussions throughout Skyrim. Magical ruptures are opening and Magical Anomalies are coming through.
Walkthrough[ | ]
Speak to Tolfdir any time after defeating Ancano (i.e. having concluded The Eye of Magnus) and he will tell you that the Jarls are paying to have some magical ruptures caused by the Eye of Magnus closed.
Close the Rupture[ | ]
Fast travel to the place nearest to the rupture's quest marker and head to the rupture. They can usually be found just outside of cities. When you near the rupture, it will grow bigger and spawn three Magical Anomalies. Once you defeat them all, the rupture will collapse.
Return to Tolfdir for your reward.
