So the end is nigh, all but Solitude has been conquered by the Stormcloaks.
Get your Orders from Ulfric Stormcloak[]
Outside the main gate to Solitude Ulfric Stormcloak actually plans to lead the troops into battle himself. After a rallying speach the attack on the city begins.
Break through the Enemy Barricade[]
Overcome the first barrier.
Follow Ulfric Stormcloak[]
Follow Ulfric's lead, though running ahead works just as well.

Overcome the second barrier.
Enter the Castle Dour[]
Make it to the Castle Dour.
Force General Tullius to surrender or Execute General Tullius[]
Initially General Tullius does not actually plan to resist, but Legate Rikke will not cave in and must be killed. Only then does General Tullius also take up arms. After defeating (not yet killing) Tullius the Dragonborn may decide to give the general the final blow, or leave that to the bloodthirsty Ulfric. Furthermore, Ulfric plans to give a victory speech in front of the troops, but the Dragonborn can choose to not be mentioned in it.
