Walkthrough[]
After having recruited Sorine Jurard to the reinstated Dawnguard, she sets to work researching weapons for the vampire hunters. Around Kindred Judgement she will bring up the topic of bolstering their ranks a bit more, and that Florentius Baenius would be ideal to strengthen the Dawnguard.
Trouble is, Sorine has no idea where Florentius might have ended up.
Speak with Isran[]
She suggests talking to Isran who might know, but had a falling out of sorts with him. But after some discussion Isran recognizes that there is strength in numbers, and points to the Ruunvald Excavation site.
Find Florentius[]
Travel to the Ruunvald Excavation site and overcome the many Charmed Vigilants, to finally make it to the Ruunvald Temple, here confront the vampire Minorne and free the overjoyed Florentius Baenius. He asked for help from Arkay and got it in the form of the Dragonborn, or so he says.
Since the Dragonborn freed him, he is willing to bear Isran and return to Fort Dawnguard.
