Chillwind Depths

The Chillwind Depths consist of a large, circular, water-filled cave system located almost due south of Dragon Bridge, far to the west of Morthal. The entrance is guarded by a cave bear, and the pool beside the entrance contains at least two slaughterfish.

Inside the cave are many mushrooms (×286), and many chaurus eggs (×149), several dead adventurers, including Firir with a Torn Note to Eydis, frostbite spiders (×8), chaurus (×2), a chaurus hunter and Falmer (×15).

It is also one of the possible locations of Meridia's Beacon.

To the east of the cave a small two-tent camp was set up, with an Adventurer's Journal, a knapsack ~290 value (L53), bed roll ×3, and a Steel Battleaxe.
