The Aedra are also called the Eight (or Nine) Divines and are associated with the primordial force known as Anu. They are part of religion instituted by the Empress Alessia which is described as an elegant, well-researched synthesis of both pantheons, Nordic and Aldmeri. They include:
- Akatosh
- Arkay
- Dibella
- Julianos
- Kynareth
- Mara
- Stendarr
- Zenithar
- Talos, although Talos is not recognized by the Aldmeri Dominion.
