Walkthrough[]
While in Darkwater Crossing, speaking with the locals the Dragonborn will eventually hear of Derkeethus, an Argonian miner, who went to investigate the pools around the settlement and never returned.
Find Derkeethus[]
The Dragonborn can then choose to find the Argonian who is in fact trapped in Darkwater Pass.
Alternatively, the Dragonborn might simply stumble upon Derkeethus while exploring Darkwater Pass.
Get Derkeethus out of the cave[]
Once Derkeethus has been located, protect him on the way out of the cave. He will then return to Darkwater Crossing on his own.
