Breezehome

Breezehome

After the Dragonborn becomes well-known in a Hold and befriend its Jarl, they may be offered the chance to buy a house. Houses are for sale in the following major cities:

Once a house is purchased, it can be furnished. The Jarl's steward can provide more information.

After purchasing a house, items can be safely left inside - they will always be there when the Dragonborn returns.

Each home comes with a Housecarl and a number of upgrades are possible, including Alchemy Labs, Enchanting facililies and storage options such as weapon plaques, mannequins, display cases and various chests, dressers, bookshelves, wardrobes and barrels.

If the Dragonborn has a spouse, they will give them money if they run a shop out of the house, and can also provide a Homecooked Meal once each day. They are also good places to store items.

Houses in Skyrim are buildings in which the Dragonborn may sleep and safely store items. Several major cities have a house, of varying size, quality and cost, available for the player to purchase. There is no limit to how many homes the Dragonborn may own, only a limit on how many houses are available. If the Dragonborn gets married, their spouse can move in with them.
