Malborn is initially found at The Winking Skeever in Solitude but later goes back to the New Gnisis Cornerclub in the Gray Quarter of Windhelm.
He is recruited by Delphine to help the Dragonborn infiltrate the Thalmor Embassy, during Diplomatic Immunity.
Surviving the quest, he will have trouble with a Thalmor assassin on his heels.
