Nikulas (Skaal) is the son of Edla and is initially one of the very few inhabitants of Skaal Village, apparently not influenced by Miraak. He helps to uphold a protective magic barrier.
Later it becomes apparent that he actually wants to leave the boring existence in the village and explore the world.
