Niyya is being held prisoner by the vengeful conjurer Ildari Sarothril at her hideout in the Highpoint Tower during Old Friends.
She the last survivor of Ildari's unspeakable experiments, and can be freed by the Dragonborn during the quest. Niyya then flees the tower for The Retching Netch, but will need to be protected on here way there.
