The Nord Hero Battle Axe is a two handed weapon, it has the same damage the Honed Ancient Nord Battle Axe and the Skyforge Steel Battleaxe yet weighs less than either of them therefore being much more appealing.
Smithing[ | ]
The Nord Hero Battle Axe can only be smithed at the Skyforge in Whiterun after The Companions questline has been completed. It requires these here items to be forged:
When at a grindstone, the weapon can be upgraded with a steel ingot and the steel smithing perk.
Physical Appearance[ | ]
Like the other Nord Hero weapons, it uses the same model as the Ancient Nord Battle Axe yet is given a "polished" look, less blackened and scarred as if it had been recently forged rather than sat in a tomb for millennia.
