Walkthrough

The progress of the Civil War is tracked with this quest. It follows the Imperial Legion's campaign to rid Skyrim of the Stormcloak rebellion and reunite the lands by restoring Imperial rule.

Find General Tullius at his usual location in Solitude. He will give you a weapon and award you with a new, higher rank in the Legion, as Questor. You are now to travel to the Pale Imperial Camp to regain control of the area from the Stormcloaks. Once you have spoken to Legate Rikke, she will have some tasks for you to fulfil.

Note: What quests are to be played and in what order depends on the choices made in Season Unending, so never will all of them be playable in one run:

Regain the Pale

• A False Front
• The Battle for Fort Dunstad → Prefect

Regain the Rift

• Compelling Tribute
• The Battle for Fort Greenwall → Tribune

Regain Winterhold Hold

• Rescue from Fort Kastav → Legate

Regain Hjaalmarch

After completing the relevant quests, the civil war will be over and the Empire will have regained control of Skyrim.
