Rune is a member of the Thieves' Guild.
He says that he was found by a fisherman on the shore near Solitude as a baby. The fisherman found a rock near him with a strange marking on it which is where his odd name comes from. Rune has since spent all the coin he has earned doing jobs for the Thieves' Guild on searching for his parents. But has yet to have any luck with it, as a note from Athel Newberry, No Word Yet, shows.
