The Scmitar is a sword originating from Hammerfell. It is rare and can be found on Alik'r and Corsairs. It is actually pretty deadly to most enemies, and does a lot of damage, even though it only does 12. This may be due to the fact it swings more quickly (faster than a most single-handed weapons).

Trivia[]
- It is most likely from Hammerfell, as it is similar to the region in which real Scmitars originated.
- Occasionally guards comment on that it is curved, as the fact that curved swords are a rarity.
- Other curved swords are Blades Sword, Dragonbane and the Ebony Blade, which are katanas.
