The Second Era lasted for the better part of nine centuries and ended with the declaration of the Third Era by Tiber Septim. During that time, Skyrim fit peacefully into Tiber Septim's empire and the scars of the Battle of Sancre Tor faded. Many Nords found employment in the Imperial Legion, as Tiber generally nurtured relations with the north.
