Silent Moons Camp

Silent Moons Camp is a Nordic ruin located north-west of Whiterun which is overrun by bandits. It is also the location of the Lunar Forge.

There is a Light Armor Forging (smithing skill) Book on the Workbench next to the Forge. Also on the Workbench are a Notes On The Lunar Forge book (lore) and an enchanted Lunar Steel War Axe (while the moons are out, burn the target for 15 points). There is a Lunar Steel Sword on the ground in the same area near the forge as well. The Chest next to the Workbench contains gold, a scroll, Welkynd Stone (completely restores Magicka), Necklace Of Smithing (weapons and armor can be improved 15% better), and a Gold Sapphire Ring. Before entering the indoor section of the camp, you will encounter up to 6 bandits, at least 2 will have a Frost magic attack. Also inside the south east wall you will see a gate blocking a Chest. Find a way up the wall and walk along it until you see the opening. Wait before jumping down to the Chest there is a Lunar Steel Mace on a table with two potions, Draught of Health and Potion of Regeneration. Potions may be random. When you enter take out the bandits and loot everything you desire. There are a few fungi near the first Chest. Make your way through to the locked double door. Pick the lock and open the door to another Chest. Before taking the ladder to leave be sure to clear the shelves of all the potions and food. There is a Lunar I
