Honeyside Bug

I REALLY NEED HELP I JUST BOUGHT THE MANOR IN SOLITUDE AND I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE WEAPON RACKS AND THE MANNEQUINS AND THEY DONT SEEM TO WORK! THE MANNEQUINS TURN INVISIBLE WHEN I PUT ARMOUR ON THEM AND I CAN EVEN SELECT THE WEAPON RACKS!! PLEASE HELP

This was a bug unique to the PS3, i believe, and the workaround is to leave the house, then go back in. — Game widow ^(talk) 11:32, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Actually this was true in the case of the Xbox 360 as well, and occured in the case of most of the racks in all the purchasable housing in the game. It was corrected early this year with a major update. --jhfurnish 08:54, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Diamond Claw

I'm in the middle of trying to get to Alduin's portal so I can get to Sovenguard. But the circular golden door with the certain order of symbols won't unlock. The claw reads: Work, Moth, Dragon. And when I put that in the door and use the diamond claw, it still won't unlock. HELP! I've come too far!

High gate Ruins

I went to High Gate Ruins when i very first started through exploration and defeated Vokun and'A Scroll for Anska'. Now i have a micellaneous quest to find the dragon shout there that i missed on the first go through but I already defeated Vokun and the gates behind him are closed again. Any tips on how to get by them, or resurrect him and kill him again? Id go through again but that was over 40 hrs of gameplay ago

im in the middle of the Blindsighted quest for the thieves guild and am stuck in a large room in Irkngthand with brynjol and karliah. its the large room after we see mercer sneak up on two falmers and murder them. this room has a dwemer mechanical bow that has a lever u activate to shoot it. i cant seem to get past the door of spikes to find mercer. there are two other levers that activate gears but other than that i cant find the way to lower the spikes... frustrating

There levers linked to large arbalests at both ends of the platform, you must run from one end to the other and activate both within a short period of time. Sounds like you just haven't been quick enough running between them — Game widow ^(talk) 11:32, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Want to max out alchemy and speech while gaining infinite gold?

Here's a nice little trick to max out alchemy and speech while gaining infinite gold. Start by going to any alchemy shop. Buy all the ingredients they sell (maybe skip deadra hearts, frost salts, fire salts, and other high cost ingredients). Make potions- note the higher the price of the potion the more xp you get so pay attention. Sell the potions back to the shop owner. Save your game. Kill the shop owner. Load your saved game. When you load the shop owner will have a full stock of gold and ingredients again. Repeat as much as you want. This is also how I completed the side mission for collecting 20 nirnroot, 20 deathbells, and 20 nightshades for the shop apprentice in Riften. Also, if you get to where you have a lot of potions and the shop owner ran out of money, have her train you in alchemy, then get your money back (in whiterun). Have fun.

Do Not Delete Chest

Whilst i was playing recently i found a chest that i could store in my incentory. it was called "Do Not Delete" and resembled an average chest, it weighs 0.5, i have no idea about what it is, i can drop it and pick it up but it doesnt do anything, any help? :)

It's not meant to be picked up, it's a placeholder for the cash in a merchant's inventory and most (possibly all) shops have one. — Game widow ^(talk) 11:32, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

GHOSTBLADE

How do I recharge the ghostblade?

Like any other magical weapon, with a soul gem and choosing "Recharge" from the menu, although i was under the impression it needed no recharging. Did you mean "upgrade" ? in which case you need ectoplasm and the right perk (Arcane Blacksmith) — Game widow ^(talk) 20:53, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

No, not upgrading the ghostblade, it is completely out of charge and I have multiple gemstones but when I try to recharge it ~it doesnt give me an option of gemsouls to use, ...nothing comes up when I hit the rt button for usual gemstone charging :{

Ghostblade

My ghostblade is out of charge and when I try to recharge it with gemstone option , it wont give me the choice of gemstones at all, any ideas?

Looking around it would seem there isn't any way to recharge it. It may be an oversight on the part of the developers, or intentional, but no one seems to know. Apparently Keening has the same problem. However, there plenty of weapons that are much better than the Ghostblade, so it's not exactly tragic — Game widow ^(talk) 12:18, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

how do you defeat jyrik?

how do you defeat jyrik? i am fighting him and the old man cause i have vampirism. no weapon or magic i have does any damage.

If you look carefully at him, his colour changes from reddish to whitish to purplish. When he's reddish, flames are useless but ice and shock are ok; when he's whitish, ice is useless but flames and shock are ok; and when he's purplish, shock is useless but flames and ice are ok. Just keep rotating through your attacks. If you have no weapon or magic, i'd suggest restoring, that's a pretty awkward situation to be in. — Game widow ^(talk) 11:56, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

The Man Who Cried Wolf/Season Unending

I am trying to buy the house in Solitude, but Steward Firebeard will not give me the quest to get to that point. I recently started the Stormcloaks but got bored of it and didn't finish, could that affect my other quest?

Also, I am trying to work through the main plot, I'm at the part titled Season Unending, but I cannot get Ulfric to go to High Hrothgar like I am suppose to, the option doesn't present itself. Any suggestions or advice for my problems?

For the man who cried wolf, have you witnessed Varnius Junius telling the Jarl about Wolfskull Cave ? If not, then that's the problem. trinity restored? Italic text

i am on the trinity restored quest. i have went to the cave got the armor and have waited for her to open the gate. she leaves the cave and disappears into rifton. when i follow her and i get into rifton i lose her. how do i complete this quest?

trinity restored

yes i am wearing the armor. i have completed other quests while wearing the armor. i have went back to the cave, tried to open the gate using the chain to the right of the gate but to no avail.

AFAIK only Karliah can operate that pullchain. This sounds like you'll have to restore from an earlier version of the game, or if you are playing on the PC, you can advance the quest using the console.

• Click on the gate and use the console command disable it, then setstage tg08a 52.
• You can try to attack Karliah which might make her turn around and open the gate.
• You can try telling Karliah that you don't understand the full meaning of being a Nightingale which would cause her to redo her speech.— Game widow ^(talk) 11:46, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

how long do ore veins stay depleted?

Is there any what to get the robes that the grey beards have for your character?

Dead Thrall Over level 50+

I´m need help in how use dead thrall over the level 50+ why im be trying use in Brother Verulus, after The Taste of Death quest...but say is too powerful to work in it... or any recomendation in another follower under the 40 level.

Penitus Oculatus Armor

Is there a way to get this armor without killing one of them or stealing it? I'm an Imperial and want this armor bad but I only see the Stormcloaks and Brotherhood ppl get it.I'm also a good so joining the Brotherhood is out of the question please can anyone help?

The only way i've discoverd to get it is actually killing them, however there may be other ways of obtaining it that i'm not aware of. Farsight2522
