To prepare for your counter attack, Aela wishes you to recover the Silver Hand Stratagem, their battle plans, from the Silver Hand.

Retrieve the battle plans[]
She will tell you to go to a randomly selected fort or encampment in Skyrim. Some known possible locations include:
- Broken Helm Hollow
- Faldar's Tooth
- Fort Fellhammer
- Glenmoril Coven
- Lost Knife Hideout
- Orotheim
- Redoran's Retreat
- Swindler's Den
- Treva's Watch
- Valtheim Towers
Go there and fight your way through to the end. The plans that you need can be found in a trapped chest at the end of the dungeon. Return to Aela with the plans.
