The Stormcloaks are one of the factions in Skyrim. They are the followers of Ulfric Stormcloak, Jarl of Windhelm, who believes he is the rightful King.
The Stormcloaks are on one side of the Civil War with the Imperial Legion on the other.
These two factions are mutually exclusive to players, and it is one of the first choices that is offered when the story begins, though it is not necessary to choose immediately.
