The Chill is a quite remote cave located north of the Skytemple Ruins on a large earth-covered island. This location is not marked on the map though. Apparently it serves as the prison for the Winterhold hold.
The inside features three locked cell boxes guarded by a Frost Atronach. Two of the cells contain skeletons, the prisoners here seem to have been left behind to die.
Exiting the cave three Frost Atronachs will attack. A deterrent for any wannabe escaping prisoner.

- The island itself features Iron Ore Veins ×3, Orichalcum Ore Vein, Silver Ore Veins ×2 and Corundum Ore Vein, usually along the shore.
- Apparently above the cave entrance: Gold Ore Vein ×2.
